Owner and Founder, PhD in Psychology, Registered Psychotherapist
Simerpreet Ahuja, a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO), is the owner and founder of Soul Immersion Psychotherapy. She holds a PhD in psychology with an extensive 19 years of experience and training in therapy with children, adolescents and adults.
Simerpreet has also worked as an Assistant Professor of Psychology for several years and has published peer reviewed papers in reputed journals like International Journal of Applied Psychology, Social Science Computer Review and Journal of Beliefs and Values. Simerpreet uses an active, empathetic and detailed approach and believes that all behaviors reflect underlying needs. She works with a diverse range of clients, meeting their needs wherever they are in their life’s journey, and collaboratively developing strategies to achieve their therapeutic goals. Simerpreet’s therapeutic techniques are integrative, drawing on various therapeutic models such as Cognitive and Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Psychodynamic Therapy, Attachment-Based frameworks, Humanistic Therapy and Solution-Focused Therapy.

We understand that every individual is unique and requires individually-tailored services. We strive to provide these integrative services to help our clients achieve coping skills by fostering resilience, positive attachment relationships, and emotional and intellectual intelligence that promotes their optimal development.
With client being our priority, our goal is to make psychotherapy accessible without any barriers. We offer psychotherapy services without any judgement and try to provide unconditional support to our clients towards achieving their personal goals and healing.
My fee is $190 per session. Payments can be made by e-transfers or credit card.
Psychotherapy sessions are not covered by OHIP. Kindly contact your insurance provider to confirm your coverage.
The full session fee will be charged for missed appointments, no shows and for appointments that are not cancelled with at least 48-hour notice.
Sessions are provided by appointment only and will take place via secure virtual platform or phone call.
